Terms & Conditions
Last updated 8 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the LuxPass online booking service to book appointments with the salon, spa or barber you have selected (the “salon”). The service is operated by Vertex Global Pty Ltd (ACN 650 052 887) trading as LuxPass (“LuxPass”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By making a booking you accept these terms.
Your appointment is a contract between you and the salon. LuxPass provides and facilitates the booking technology; the salon provides the services. Some matters below are decided by the salon — for example deposit amounts and cancellation cut-offs — and are shown to you at the time of booking.
Making a booking
When you book you may be asked to save a payment card or pay a deposit to hold the appointment. Card details are handled by our PCI-compliant payment provider and are stored only in tokenised form — LuxPass does not store your full card number.
You are responsible for giving accurate booking details and for telling the salon directly about any health condition, allergy or sensitivity relevant to your service before it begins. If you book on behalf of a group, you remain responsible for that booking.
Cancellation & no-show policy
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up until the cancellation cut-off set by the salon. This cut-off is shown to you when you book and in your confirmation.
If you cancel after the cut-off, do not attend, or arrive too late to receive your service, the salon may charge a late-cancellation or no-show fee. Depending on the salon’s policy this may be some or all of any deposit paid, and/or a charge to your saved card of up to the full value of the booked service (less any deposit already paid).
For group bookings, a fee may apply for each person who cancels late or does not attend. If the salon cancels your appointment, any deposit you paid is refunded to your original payment method. These fees are set and applied by the salon at its discretion; LuxPass processes them on the salon’s behalf.
Gift vouchers
- Vouchers can be redeemed only at the salon (or salons) that issued them.
- Vouchers may be redeemed in part, with the balance kept for later use before expiry.
- Vouchers may be combined with cash or other accepted payment methods, but cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Vouchers are subject to any expiry shown on the voucher and to applicable law — in Australia, gift cards and vouchers sold to consumers must generally remain valid for at least three years from purchase.
Loyalty programme
Where a salon runs a loyalty programme, points and rewards are earned and redeemed under the salon’s rules, which the salon may change or end at any time. Rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may expire. Some purchases may be excluded from earning.
Reviews
After an appointment you may be invited to leave a review. If you do, the salon and LuxPass may publish it; only your first name is shown.
Liability & your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to those rights, LuxPass provides the booking service on a reasonable-efforts basis and is not liable for the services you receive from the salon, for a salon’s acts or omissions, or for loss arising from cancellations, changes to salon services, illness or events beyond our reasonable control. Any dispute about the service you receive is between you and the salon.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that State. We may update these terms from time to time; the version shown here applies to your booking. Questions? Contact us at hello@luxpass.com.au.
